Privacy Policy.

How we handle the personal information you give us through this website. Last updated 15 August 2026.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers the ZappInvoice marketing website only — the pages you are reading now, the contact form and the early access signup form. The ZappInvoice app has not launched. When it does, a separate policy will cover the data the app handles, and we will publish it before you can sign up to use it.

Who we are

ZappInvoice is an invoicing, payments and expense-management product for Australian sole traders and small businesses. ZappInvoice is operated by Hypermint Digital Pty Ltd (ACN 697 383 887). In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Hypermint Digital Pty Ltd.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into a form on this site. Specifically:

Contact enquiries

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The message you write

Early access signups

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your mobile number, if you choose to give it (optional)
  • Your business or trade, if you choose to give it (optional)

Technical information

Our server records the IP address of form submissions. We use it for one purpose: rate limiting, so that automated systems cannot flood the form. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or third-party cookies. We store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage to remember that you have already dismissed or completed the early access form, so we do not show it to you repeatedly. That data stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to you. If you send an enquiry, we use your email address to answer it.
  • To tell you when we launch. If you join the early access list, we use your contact details to let you know when ZappInvoice is available and to invite you to try it.
  • To protect the form. IP addresses are used for rate limiting only.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How your information reaches us

Form submissions are delivered to us by email over an SMTP connection. The message contains the information you entered in the form. Your email address is set as the reply-to address so we can respond to you directly.

Our email provider processes the message in order to deliver it. Beyond that provider and our own mailbox, your submission is not sent anywhere else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your question and to keep a record of the conversation. Early access signups are kept until we launch and contact you, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@zappinvoice.com and we will action it. You can ask to be removed from the early access list at any time, and we will remove you.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and credentials used to send email are held on the server and are never exposed to your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any specific security certification or accreditation.

Children

This website is aimed at people running a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change — in particular when the ZappInvoice app launches. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

Contact

Questions about privacy can go to hello@zappinvoice.com, or through the contact form. See also our Terms of Use.

A note on legal completeness

This policy describes what this website actually does with your information, in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and it does not claim compliance with any particular standard or certification. Before launch, have it reviewed against the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles by someone qualified to do so.
